Since you were faithful in small matters,
I will give you great responsibilities.
Come, share your master's joy.'

To be faithful in the small matters...what does that look like? To put it simply, literally everything we do can be an act of faithfulness. What may seem arbitrary at first could be our initial step towards greatness. Canadian speaker and psychologist Jordan Peterson says this:

“...if you want to change the world, you start from yourself and work outward...You build your competence that way.”

Being great doesn’t just happen overnight. We need to “Clean our rooms before we change the world.” Take charge of the responsibilities in our care right now and do them with love and do them well! Whether it’s changing diapers or studying for exams or running a company. The key is to do it all with excellence...and love.
