Collaborators in songwriting and performing since 2006, Nick and Alina have fused their creative fires to illuminate the trials and triumphs of the human experience. The duo impacts their audiences through powerful testimony, moving vocals and songs that burn through with Truth, Love, Inspiration, and Beauty.
A classically trained vocalist, Nick spent much of his youth and academia with the aspiration of becoming an opera singer. That is, until he encountered the Lord. Nick gave up the career he had been working towards to become a youth minister, then church music director, then pastoral associate, then director of marriage and family life ministries for the Diocese of Toledo. During its two-year run, Nick was the co-host of the internationally acclaimed podcast “The Catholic SIP.” Around the country Nick has served as musician for Dynamic Catholic, Renewal Ministries, Extraordinary Mission and Life Teen retreats, conferences and events.
Alina has been playing fiddle/violin since she was 7 and has been singing since before she can remember. Her performance experiences range from singing and playing violin for worship conferences, adoration of the blessed sacrament, sacred liturgies, bluegrass and country music on national stages. Alina is influenced by genres that span from bluegrass to hip hop and EDM (she loves a good 808) to Celtic/new age.
