Is It Too Late?

Psalm 136:1-4

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good,

for his mercy endures forever;

Give thanks to the God of gods,

for his mercy endures forever;

Give thanks to the LORD of lords,

for his mercy endures forever.

To him who alone does great wonders,

His love endures forever

Our God is a god of mercy. St. Faustina, whose revelations from God were primarily on His mercy, says this: “All grace flows from mercy, and the last hour abounds with mercy for us.  Let no one doubt concerning the goodness of God; even if a person’s sins were as dark as night, God’s mercy is stronger than our misery. One thing alone is necessary; that the sinner set ajar the door of his heart, be it ever so little, to let in a ray of God’s merciful grace, and then God will do the rest.”

Regardless of who we are or what we’ve done… regardless of who YOU are or what YOU’VE done. God’s mercy endures forever. It is a gift he offers us in super abundance. And he never stops offering it to us. It’s never too late. It’s never too late.

Today, allow his supernatural gift of mercy and love to bring you peace and fill you with joy. If it’s been a while since you’ve gone to confession, seek out the healing he offers us there. God loves you, and He always will.
